Stir of Echoes 4K 1999 Ultra HD 2160p

It's set in Chicago. At one of the parties, the talk was about hypnosis. Tom Vicki (Kevin Bacon), a happy husband, a good man, decided to experience its effects, but during a short session he became unwell. And afterward, Tom began to be haunted by inexplicable nightmares. Reality and the painful game of imagination tangled in a tangle. Tom calls Lisa, who hypnotized him, and learns that he was given an installation to open his subconscious, his brain became like an open door. He is ready to perceive everything around him. This allows him to remember what has long been forgotten, to discover hidden talents... Lisa advises him not to worry. But how not to worry, when he sees a girl sitting on his couch, and his little son named Jake talking about some Samantha, and she turns out to be the sister of the babysitter hired for one night. The latter grabs the child and runs with him to his mother, as Samantha is long gone. The found child suddenly began to speak in a strange, male voice, and does not want to remember about Samantha, as it scares his mother... The father is in a panic, but wants to understand what is happening... The movie is worth to break your head over its mysteries.

An incredibly atmospheric movie. A simple story is embodied in a terrific plot. The acting is flawless. It was unusual to see Kevin Bacon's character as a positive hero.

I won't talk about its similarities to other movies. This movie is individual. If in some movies long dialogues are tiresome, here they are accompanied by actions and do not let you relax. You don't know what's going to happen next in this movie. This is a significant plus. That's the highlight of it. And also in the beautiful calm and a little mysterious music by James Newton Howard, which only enhances the effect of watching. After a secondary viewing, you begin to notice some details you hadn't seen before. The idea that there are people who succumb to deep hypnosis really interested me. And I even became interested in this topic myself.

I highly recommend watching this movie, preferably in the evening.
