A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors 4K 1987 Ultra HD 2160p
The events take place six years after Freddy Krueger's first appearance. He has become much stronger, feeding on the souls of children from Elm Street. Now he has turned his attention to seven children confined to a psychiatric hospital.
The situation is exacerbated by a series of “suicides,” which are, of course, Freddy's doing. Only Nancy Thompson, who has returned to her hometown as a medical intern, can resolve the situation and explain what is happening...

After watching ‘Dream Warriors’, the question arises: why was it necessary to shoot a poor sequel when it would have been possible to wait three years and make a decent sequel? The third installment did not surpass the original and did not even come close to it, but it is no less interesting to watch.
Despite the creative failure of the second part, it was a commercial success, which, combined with the good earnings of the first film, allowed the producers to allocate a much larger budget for the production, which was noticeable to the naked eye. The sets and makeup no longer looked like something made on a shoestring budget, and the special effects were quite decent (for their time, of course). For a film where one of the main components is the spectacular reproduction of nightmares, this circumstance could not but have a positive effect.
Of course, the main factor in the success of the trilogy was the return of its founding father, Wes Craven, who this time limited himself to screenwriting and producing. Wes wrote a direct sequel not to the second part, but to the first, skillfully developing the ideas of the original, and brought Nancy (Heather Langenkamp) back to the lead role.
The events take place six years after Freddy's first appearance to the public, and he has become much stronger thanks to feeding on the souls of the last children from Elm Street, who are confined to a psychiatric hospital. The situation is exacerbated by widespread “suicides,” which are, of course, Freddy's doing. Only the new intern, Nancy Thompson, can resolve the situation and explain what the hell is going on...
In the third installment, Wes decided to build the narrative around Kristen (Patricia Arquette) rather than Nancy, who has the amazing ability to drag other people into her dreams. Each new character has a unique alter ego that manifests itself in dreams and transforms the person beyond recognition, which in turn allowed the creation of memorable, dissimilar dreams for each character.
On the other hand, the comic book approach forced the screenwriter to make the characters extremely clichéd: a healthy black man, a geek, a scruffy quiet guy, a cool girl, a chubby girl who dreams of becoming a TV star... To be fair, it's worth adding that, unlike many other films, this approach doesn't hurt the movie, but actually works in its favor.
Everything would have been great if Chuck Russell had paid at least a little attention to the actors, rather than focusing solely on the visuals. It seems that in three years, Heather has not only failed to learn how to act, but has even lost the few acting skills she had in the first part.
Every scene where she tries to portray something resembling acting provokes fits of Homeric laughter. Of course, no one expects actors in teen horror movies to perform like Shakespeare, but they should at least have some idea of what acting is. Lawrence Fishburne (who called himself Larry Fishburne at the time), Craig Vason, and John Saxon partially save the day.
It seemed that after the second part, nothing could save the franchise, but help came from where it was least expected. Therefore, after watching the 1984 film, you should immediately watch the third part and not dwell on the terrible second part.
